Das deutsche Unternehmen KUNBUS hat einen modularen und kosteng\u00fcnstigen Industrie-PC entwickelt, den Revolution Pi, der auf dem Compute Module basiert und aus offener Hard- und Software besteht, die der Norm EN61131-2 entspricht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Basismodule RevPi Core und Connect sind in einem schlanken Hutschienengeh\u00e4use untergebracht und lassen sich je nach Anforderung nahtlos durch passende I\/O-Module und Feldbus-Gateways erweitern.&nbsp; Die mit 24 V betriebenen Module werden in Sekundenschnelle \u00fcber eine aufgesetzte Steckerbr\u00fccke, die PIBridge, miteinander verbunden und verf\u00fcgen bereits \u00fcber USB-, Ethernet- und HDMI-Schnittstellen sowie ein einfach zu bedienendes grafisches Konfigurationstool. KUNBUS legt nicht nur die Schaltpl\u00e4ne offen, sondern setzt auch bei der Software den Open-Source-Gedanken konsequent fort. Eine angepasste Version des vom Raspberry Pi bekannten Betriebssystems Raspbian (eine Debian-Variante) mit Echtzeit-Patch einschliesslich der Treiber f\u00fcr die Erweiterungsmodule ist vorinstalliert. Durch die Verwendung von Raspbian wird sichergestellt, dass grunds\u00e4tzlich jede Software oder Anwendung, die auf einem Raspberry Pi l\u00e4uft, auch auf dem Revolution Pi funktioniert. Durch vollen Root-Zugriff lassen sich eigene Programme ohne Hindernisse programmieren und ausf\u00fchren. F\u00fcr Anwender, die fertige Softwarel\u00f6sungen bevorzugen, werden durch die Kooperation mit verschiedenen Software-Herstellern u.a. kosteng\u00fcnstige und leistungsf\u00e4hige Steuerungs- und SCADA-Software angeboten. Dadurch l\u00e4sst sich Revolution Pi zu einer industrietauglichen Kleinsteuerung ausbauen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit Revolution Pi lassen sich verschiedenste IIoT- und Automatisierungsprojekte umsetzen und neue Gesch\u00e4ftskonzepte und L\u00f6sungen, wie z.B. Cloud Services, realisieren. Diese umfassen die Basismodule Core und Connect und sind zwischen den Serien RevPi 3+ und RevPi 4 angesiedelt. Die RevPi 4-Serie befindet sich derzeit noch in der Entwicklung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In den letzten Monaten hatte KUNBUS mit einer Reihe von Problemen bei der Beschaffung der Compute Module zu k\u00e4mpfen. Anfragen und Bestellungen von vielen Kunden und Interessenten an Revolution Pi konnten nicht erf\u00fcllt werden, weil die Vorprodukte einfach nicht hinreichend am Weltmarkt verf\u00fcgbar waren. In dieser Situation kam das Angebot der Raspberry Pi Foundation, den CM4 als besondere Alternative zum CM3+ anzubieten, gerade zur rechten Zeit. Dabei handelt es sich um ein Compute Module im Formfaktor des CM3+, auf dem der leistungsst\u00e4rkere Arm Cortex-A72 Prozessor des CM4 verbaut ist. Die Module verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber bis zu 32 GB eMMC-Flash-Speicher, HDMI 2.0a und Ethernet mit bis zu 350 Mbit\/s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Unterschied zwischen der S- und SE-Serie besteht darin, dass die S-Serie mit allen Erweiterungsmodulen einschliesslich der Feldbus-Gateways kompatibel ist. Die SE-Serie hingegen kann nur mit IO-Modulen und im Falle des RevPi Connect mit Con-Modulen erweitert werden. Feldbus-Gateways werden von der SE-Serie nicht unterst\u00fctzt. Diese Unterscheidung ist v\u00f6llig neu.
