Da LEDs selber nicht den Stromfluss begrenzen und den Hochspannungs-Wechselstrom aus der Steckdose in Niederspannungs-Gleichstrom umwandeln k\u00f6nnen, brauchen sie einen LED-Treiber, bzw. ein LED-Netzteil um einwandfrei funktionieren zu k\u00f6nnen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denn ohne LED-Treiber bzw LED-Netzteil, k\u00f6nnen Schwankungen des Stromnetzes zu Flackern oder auch zum Ausfall des Leuchtmittels f\u00fchren.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"konstantstrom-und-konstantspannung\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Konstantstrom und Konstantspannung&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein LED-Treiber begrenzt den Strom, der durch eine LED fliesst und ist daher eine Konstantstromquelle. Ein LED-Netzteil hingegen, wandelt den 230 V-Wechselstrom aus der Steckdose in Gleichstrom mit einer niedrigeren Spannung um und ist daher eine Konstantspannungsquelle. F\u00fcr einen optimalen Betrieb ben\u00f6tigen LEDs also je nach Anwendungsbereich entweder eine Konstantspannungs- oder eine Konstantstromquelle. W\u00e4hrend eine Konstantspannungsquelle ein flexibleres LED-System erm\u00f6glicht, da ohne Weiteres die Anzahl der angeschlossenen LEDs ver\u00e4ndert werden kann, ist sie im Gegensatz zu einer Konstantstromquelle anf\u00e4lliger f\u00fcr \u00dcberhitzung.  Ob Sie f\u00fcr Ihre Anwendung ein LED-Netzteil oder einen LED-Treiber ben\u00f6tigen, k\u00f6nnen Sie aus der Produktbeschreibung einer LED entnehmen. LED-Leuchtb\u00e4nder haben meistens eine feste Betriebsspannung von 12 oder 24 V und werden in der Regel von Netzteilen betrieben. Wohingegen LED-Streifen, die mit einem konstanten Strom betrieben werden m\u00fcssen, eine Konstantstromquelle, wie zum Beispiel einen LED-Treiber erfordern. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie ein Netzteil kaufen, das die gleiche Ausgangsspannung hat wie die LED-Leuchte, die es versorgt. Die Verwendung einer 12-Volt-Leuchte mit einem 24-Volt-Netzteil erh\u00f6ht zwar kurzfristig die Helligkeit der LED, aber die h\u00f6here Spannung f\u00fchrt schliesslich zum Durchbrennen des Bandes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"leistung\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leistung<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Wattzahl eines Treibers gibt seine maximale Ausgangsleistung an. Es wird empfohlen, einen Treiber zu w\u00e4hlen, dessen Leistung mindestens 10 % h\u00f6her ist als die Leistung der zu versorgenden LED-Leuchte, da dies eine l\u00e4ngere Lebensdauer des Systems gew\u00e4hrleistet. Die Wattzahl der LED selbst ist die Menge an Strom, die sie bei normalem Gebrauch verbraucht. Bei zu viel Leistung brennen sie durch, bei zu wenig Leistung funktionieren sie \u00fcberhaupt nicht. Daher ist es ratsam, Treiber nicht an Leuchtdioden anzuschliessen, die mehr als 80 % der maximalen Leistung des Treibers verbrauchen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"arten-von-led-treibern\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Arten von LED-Treibern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>LED-Treiber lassen sich in zwei Arten einteilen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Integrierte LED-Treiber<\/strong> sind mit dem LED-Chip in einem gemeinsamen Geh\u00e4use verbaut.&nbsp; Dies ist oft bei Leuchten f\u00fcr Privathaushalte der Fall, da der Austausch einer defekten Leuchte so einfacher ist.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Externe LED-Treiber<\/strong> sind in einem separaten Geh\u00e4use untergebracht und werden h\u00e4ufig f\u00fcr Aussenbeleuchtung, Strassenbeleuchtung oder kommerzielle Beleuchtung verwendet, da es in der Regel viel billiger ist, den externen Treiber zu ersetzen als die gesamte Leuchte.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Es gibt auch verschiedene Arten von Lichttreibern, die je nach Gr\u00f6sse variieren, z. B. kleine oder Mikro-Lichttreiber mit einer gemeinsamen Nennleistung von 4 Watt oder Hochleistungstreiber.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die neueste und fortschrittlichste LED-Technologie sind Chip-on-Board-LEDs (COB), die aus integrierter Elektronik und mehreren in einem Cluster angeordneten LEDs bestehen. Sie sind sehr leistungsstark, verbrauchen weniger Energie und erzeugen einen hochwertigen Lichtstrahl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LEDs k\u00f6nnen auch gedimmt werden. Im Folgenden erfahren Sie auf was bei dimmbaren LED-Treibern geachtet werden muss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"dimmbare-led-treiber\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dimmbare LED-Treiber<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mithilfe von dimmbaren Treibern kann die Leistung und somit die Helligkeit einer LED ver\u00e4ndert werden. Es gibt zwei Haupttypen von dimmbaren Treibern: dimmbare Treiber mit nachfolgender Flanke (manchmal auch als elektronische Niederspannungs-Treiber oder ELV-Treiber bezeichnet) und dimmbare Treiber mit vorlaufender Flanke (auch als Trioden- oder TRIAC-Treiber f\u00fcr Wechselstrom bekannt).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TRIAC-Treiber sind in der Regel die billigste Option, aber sie ben\u00f6tigen eine Hochspannungslampe und eignen sich daher weniger gut f\u00fcr Niederspannungsbeleuchtungsanwendungen. Der zweite Typ sind dimmbare Treiber mit nachlaufender Flanke, die komplexer sind als dimmbare Treiber mit vorlaufender Flanke und eine gleichm\u00e4ssigere Steuerung erm\u00f6glichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es gibt auch DALI-LED-Treiber. Das bedeutet, dass die Parameter des LED-Treibers mit denen der LED \u00fcbereinstimmen m\u00fcssen, z. B. Spannung, Stromst\u00e4rke usw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Bedingungen<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Definieren Sie die externe Umgebung, in der sich der Treiber befindet. Wenn Sie z. B. LEDs im Aussenbereich installieren, m\u00fcssen Sie sicherstellen, dass Ihr Treiber ausreichend wasserfest ist. Es gibt LED-Treiber, die speziell f\u00fcr den Aussenbereich hergestellt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Dr\u00e4hte<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Identifizieren Sie die (P) positiven und (N) negativen Dr\u00e4hte in Ihrer Steckdose, und trennen Sie dann die Steckdose vom Netz. Denken Sie daran, dass bei Treibern und Transformatoren ohne Klemmen ein Stecker direkt am Kabelende angebracht werden muss. Schliessen Sie die positiven und negativen Dr\u00e4hte der LED-Leuchte an die entsprechenden Anschl\u00fcsse des Treibers an. Verbinden Sie dann das gr\u00fcne Erdungskabel (GND) des Treibers mit einer Erdungsklemme. Schliessen Sie im letzten Schrittt das Plus- und das Minuskabel in der Steckdose an die entsprechenden Anschl\u00fcsse am Treiber an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"5\">\n<li><strong>Pr\u00fcfung<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Sie k\u00f6nnen nun die Installation gr\u00fcndlich testen, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Anschl\u00fcsse sicher und korrekt angebracht sind, dass die W\u00e4rme richtig abgeleitet wird und dass alle Kabel sicher verbunden sind. Im Falle einer St\u00f6rung schalten Sie zun\u00e4chst den Strom ab und pr\u00fcfen Sie sorgf\u00e4ltig, ob ein Problem vorliegt.
