Sie bestehen aus einer Keramikschicht im Inneren, die sich bei Druck auf eine Metallschicht an der Aussenseite zusammenzieht. Dies f\u00fchrt letztlich dazu, dass die innere Schicht eine verzerrte Form annimmt. Der Schalter wird dann bet\u00e4tigt, wenn er gedr\u00fcckt wird, weil ein Halbleiter durch einen erzeugten elektrischen Impuls aktiviert wird.
