Deshalb ist die k\u00fcnstliche Beleuchtung im Gartenbau auch so wichtig, da mit ihr das Pflanzenwachstum gef\u00f6rdert werden kann. Ein beliebtes Leuchtmittel im Gartenbau sind LEDs. Die am h\u00e4ufigsten im Gartenbau verwendeten LED-Wellenl\u00e4ngen sind blau und rot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"warum-also-weisse-leds-verwenden\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Warum also weisse LEDs verwenden?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Weisse LEDs bieten ein komplettes Spektrum an Wellenl\u00e4ngen und k\u00f6nnen verwendet werden, um das nat\u00fcrliche Tageslicht zu imitieren. Weisses Licht kann Pflanzen mit einer Kombination aus Blau, Rot und Gr\u00fcn versorgen. Allerdings brauchen Pflanzen f\u00fcr ein optimales Wachstum verschiedene Wellenl\u00e4ngen, weshalb die weisse Beleuchtung am besten mit anderen wichtigen Wellenl\u00e4ngen kombiniert wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eine weisse LED hat einen hohen Spitzenwert im blauen Bereich (455 nm) und deckt andere wichtige Wellenl\u00e4ngen wie Hyperrot (660 nm) und Fernrot (730 nm) sowie einige gr\u00fcne und gelbe  ab. Da das Strahlenspektrum weisser LEDs dem der Sonne \u00e4hnelt, k\u00f6nnen weisse LEDs als Tageslicht-Ersatz dienen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LEDs k\u00f6nnen jedoch auch als Erg\u00e4nzung zum nat\u00fcrlichen Sonnenlicht verwendet werden. Dadurch k\u00f6nnen die Tageslichtstunden f\u00fcr Pflanzen verl\u00e4ngert werden, was vor allem im Winter, wenn die Tage k\u00fcrzer sind, von Vorteil ist. Das verl\u00e4ngert nicht nur die Wachstumszeit der Pflanzen, sondern kann auch zu h\u00f6heren Ertr\u00e4gen f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"wann-ist-weisses-licht-nicht-erforderlich\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wann ist weisses Licht nicht erforderlich?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Weisses Licht ist nicht unbedingt erforderlich, wenn bereits ausreichend Sonnenlicht vorhanden ist, da die Pflanzen bereits von den Wellenl\u00e4ngen des nat\u00fcrlichen Lichts profitieren. Die Sonne erzeugt Wellenl\u00e4ngen im gesamten sichtbaren Farbspektrum sowie im infraroten und ultravioletten Bereich. Daher ben\u00f6tigen Pflanzen, die Zugang zu Tageslicht haben, m\u00f6glicherweise nur bestimmte Wellenl\u00e4ngenfarben von LEDs, um das Licht zu erg\u00e4nzen, das sie bereits erhalten (z. B. blau oder rot). Welche spezifischen Wellenl\u00e4ngen eventuell erg\u00e4nzt werden m\u00fcssen, ist je nach Pflanzenart unterschiedlich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diese zus\u00e4tzliche Verst\u00e4rkung von wichtigen Wellenl\u00e4ngen tr\u00e4gt dazu bei, Prozesse in den Pflanzen wie die Photosynthese zu verbessern und dadurch die Wachstumsraten und die Qualit\u00e4t zu steigern.
