Er widmet sich dem Verst\u00e4ndnis der neuesten Technologien und Innovationen von f\u00fchrenden Anbietern in der Welt der Optoelektronik, von Optik \u00fcber LEDs bis zu intelligenten LED-Treibern.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>Infrarot (IR) ist eine Art von elektromagnetischer Strahlung mit Wellenl\u00e4ngen ausserhalb des sichtbaren Lichtspektrums. Sie wurde 1800 von dem deutschen Astronomen William Herschel entdeckt, der Experimente zur Messung des Temperaturunterschieds zwischen Wellenl\u00e4ngenfarben durchf\u00fchrte. Dabei entdeckte er, dass die w\u00e4rmsten Temperaturmessungen jenseits des roten Endes des sichtbaren Spektrums liegen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>Auch wenn Infrarotstrahlung ausserhalb des sichtbaren Lichtspektrums liegt, k\u00f6nnen wir IR-LEDs (Infrarot-Leuchtdioden) mit einer Wellenl\u00e4nge nahe der Grenze zum sichtbaren Licht mit blossem Auge erkennen, da sie schwach rot leuchten. Bei kurzwelliger Infrarotstrahlung, also dem Wellenl\u00e4ngenbereich, der dem sichtbaren Spektrum am n\u00e4chsten kommt, spricht man oft auch vom nahen Infrarot. IR-LEDs mit einer Wellenl\u00e4nge von 750 bis 850 nm leuchten daher schwach rot. Wohingegen der mittlere und weite IR-Bereich f\u00fcr das menschliche Auge unsichtbar ist. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"was-sind-infrarot-leds\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Was sind Infrarot-LEDs?\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n<p>Infrarot-LEDs funktionieren wie jede andere LED, verwenden aber andere Materialien, um ein anderes Lichtspektrum zu erzeugen. IR-LEDs emittieren Wellenl\u00e4ngen am oberen Ende des elektromagnetischen Strahlungsspektrums jenseits des sichtbaren Bereichs. Im Gegensatz zu LEDs, die Wellenl\u00e4ngen und Farben im sichtbaren Spektrum aussenden, werden IR-LEDs jedoch nicht auf die gleiche Weise zur Beleuchtung eingesetzt.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"geben-infrarot-leds-waerme-ab\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Geben Infrarot-LEDs W\u00e4rme ab?\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n<p>Zwar strahlt die IR-Strahlung auch W\u00e4rme ab, aber bei den meisten Anwendungen wird diese W\u00e4rme nicht verwendet. Bei Anwendungen mit grossen Entfernungen werden leistungsstarke IR-Wellenl\u00e4ngen verwendet, was dazu f\u00fchrt, dass W\u00e4rme abgegeben und innerhalb der LED eingeschlossen wird. Schauen wir uns einige ihrer Anwendungen n\u00e4her an.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Fernbedienungen:<\/strong> IR-LEDs werden h\u00e4ufig f\u00fcr die Kommunikation \u00fcber kurze Entfernungen verwendet, z.\u00a0B. f\u00fcr Fernbedienungen von Fernsehern, Klimaanlagen und anderen elektronischen Ger\u00e4ten. Fernbedienungen enthalten eine IR-LED, die Impulse von nicht sichtbarem Infrarotlicht aussendet, um eine Nachricht an einen Empf\u00e4nger zu \u00fcbermitteln.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Video\u00fcberwachungskameras:<\/strong> Damit Videokameras auch bei Dunkelheit klare Bilder liefern k\u00f6nnen, werden IR-LEDs als Beleuchtungsquelle verwendet. Sie sind oft um das Objektiv herum angeordnet, um die Umgebung auszuleuchten. Infrarot-LEDs kommen auch in Nachtsichtger\u00e4ten zum Einsatz.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Bewegungsmelder:<\/strong> Menschen, Tiere und nahezu alle Objekte geben W\u00e4rme in Form von Infrarotstrahlung ab, die von IR-Sensoren erfasst werden kann. Daher finden IR-Sensoren breite Anwendung in Bewegungsmeldern und \u00dcberwachungssystemen. N\u00e4hert sich ein Mensch oder ein Tier den Sensoren, erfassen die Sensoren die erh\u00f6hte abgegebene Infrarotstrahlung und l\u00f6sen einen Alarm oder andere Aktionen aus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Medizinische Ger\u00e4te:<\/strong> IR-LEDs werden in medizinischen Ger\u00e4ten wie Pulsoximetern verwendet, um die Sauerstoffs\u00e4ttigung des Blutes (SpO2) und den Puls zu messen. Daf\u00fcr wird eine Lichtquelle, die Infrarot-Lichtwellen aussendet, und ein Lichtsensor, der ermittelt, wie stark die Lichtanteile auf der gegen\u00fcberliegenden Seite absorbiert werden, verwendet. Das Pulsoximeter erkennt, ob das Blut hell- oder dunkelrot und damit sauerstoffreich oder sauerstoffarm ist. Da das Pulsoximeter sowohl die Sauerstoffs\u00e4ttigung als auch den Puls messen kann, ist es ein wichtiges Screening-Tool f\u00fcr Schlafapnoe-Patienten. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Automobilanwendungen:<\/strong> IR-LEDs werden z.\u00a0B. in Kollisionserkennungssystemen und Fahrer\u00fcberwachungssystemen verwendet, die den Fahrer auf Objekte oder Fussg\u00e4nger in der N\u00e4he des Fahrzeugs aufmerksam machen sollen. IR ist hier die ideale L\u00f6sung, da die Erkennung durch W\u00e4rme und nicht durch Beleuchtung erfolgt und die Objekte und Personen somit auch nachts zu erkennen sind.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Barcode-Scanner:<\/strong> IR-LEDs werden auch in Barcode-Scannern verwendet. Sie lenken die IR-Wellenl\u00e4ngen auf die Oberfl\u00e4che des Strichcodes. Das Leseger\u00e4t misst dann das Muster und die Menge des vom Strichcode reflektierten Lichts.
