Les pays d&rsquo;Europe de l&rsquo;Est tels que <strong>la Hongrie<\/strong>, <strong>la R\u00e9publique tch\u00e8que<\/strong>, <strong>la Bulgarie<\/strong>, <strong>la Lituanie<\/strong> et <strong>la Slovaquie<\/strong> connaissent le pourcentage le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de patients d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s pendant leur attente d&rsquo;un organe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depuis que la Hongrie a rejoint la fondation Eurotransplant en 2018, le <a href=\"http:\/\/real.mtak.hu\/86950\/1\/650.2018.31230.pdf\">nombre de transplantations d&rsquo;organes<\/a> y a augment\u00e9 de 40 %, avec une hausse significative du nombre de transplantations r\u00e9nales \u00e0 partir de donneurs vivants et du nombre de transplantations \u00e0 partir de donneurs en \u00e9tat de mort c\u00e9r\u00e9brale.&nbsp; La Bulgarie est le pays d&rsquo;Europe o\u00f9 le nombre de transplantations est le plus faible. A cela s&rsquo;ajoute le fait que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rferl.org\/a\/bulgaria-health-organ-transplants\/31188078.html\">les dons de personnes vivantes<\/a> ne sont autoris\u00e9s que dans certains cas, ce qui oblige certains patients \u00e0 se rendre \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tranger pour une transplantation vitale.&nbsp; Nos recherches ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une entreprise bulgare sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans la bio-impression a re\u00e7u un investissement de 0,5 million d&rsquo;euros pour explorer l&rsquo;avenir de la fabrication additive dans le secteur de la sant\u00e9 et d\u00e9couvrir comment elle peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour la bio-impression d&rsquo;organes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, <strong>l&rsquo;Irlande<\/strong> fait \u00e9galement partie du top 10 des pays o\u00f9 le plus grand nombre de patients d\u00e9c\u00e8dent en attente d&rsquo;un organe (10,5 %). La majorit\u00e9 d&rsquo;entre eux \u00e9taient en attente d&rsquo;un poumon. Le pays a r\u00e9cemment pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.ie\/en\/press-release\/01f22-minister-donnelly-to-publish-the-human-tissue-transplantation-post-mortem-anatomical-examination-and-public-display-bill\/\">projet de loi<\/a> visant \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer le don et la transplantation d&rsquo;organes, qui remplace la solution du consentement \u00e9largi, qui s&rsquo;appliquait auparavant, par une solution d&rsquo;opposition.&nbsp; Il existe \u00e9galement une entreprise irlandaise qui se concentre sur la bio-impression et qui a re\u00e7u une somme non divulgu\u00e9e pour soutenir le progr\u00e8s technologique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La p\u00e9nurie d&rsquo;organes et de donneurs \u00e9tant un probl\u00e8me s\u00e9rieux, il est important de mentionner les pays et les entreprises qui travaillent \u00e0 faire progresser l&rsquo;innovation technologique pour s&rsquo;assurer que la bio-impression devienne une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 au cours de la prochaine d\u00e9cennie. Ainsi, il existe actuellement au <strong>Royaume-Uni<\/strong> deux entreprises sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans ce domaine, qui r\u00e9alisent des investissements de plus de 200 millions de livres. En <strong>France<\/strong>, il y a au total 3 entreprises sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es avec un financement de 15 millions d&rsquo;euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En ce qui concerne les listes d&rsquo;attente, nos donn\u00e9es issues des moyennes des pays europ\u00e9ens montrent que la plupart des patients d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s pendant la p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;attente attendaient un poumon. Seul un petit pourcentage de patients en attente d&rsquo;un rein sont d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9s. C&rsquo;est surprenant si l&rsquo;on consid\u00e8re que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2012\/may\/27\/kidney-trade-illegal-operations-who\">l&rsquo;organe le plus souvent vendu ill\u00e9galement<\/a> sur le march\u00e9 noir est le rein. L&rsquo;OMS estime que 10,000 reins sont vendus chaque ann\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 noir, soit plus d&rsquo;un par heure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Comment la bio-impression va-t-elle r\u00e9duire le nombre de d\u00e9c\u00e8s sur la liste d&rsquo;attente ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lors de la fabrication d&rsquo;organes par bio-impression, les m\u00e9decins et les chercheurs utilisent des scanners pour cr\u00e9er un mod\u00e8le 3D de l&rsquo;organe qui sert de mod\u00e8le. Ensuite, l&rsquo;organe est imprim\u00e9 couche par couche \u00e0 partir de bioencre, une combinaison de cellules vivantes et de gels biopolym\u00e8res. Les organes imprim\u00e9s en 3D pourraient r\u00e9duire consid\u00e9rablement les d\u00e9lais d&rsquo;attente, car le tissu peut \u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 partir des propres cellules du patient, qui n&rsquo;a donc pas besoin d&rsquo;un donneur compatible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parmi les essais r\u00e9ussis, <a href=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/news\/harvard-3d-bioprinting-research-mimics-kidney-function-like-never-before-150354\/\">un mod\u00e8le de rein en 3D<\/a> fabriqu\u00e9 par Harvard, qui, avec d&rsquo;autres recherches et investissements de soci\u00e9t\u00e9s sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es, a le potentiel de sauver des millions de vies. Certaines entreprises peuvent actuellement imprimer des os, des cartilages, de la peau et des<a href=\"https:\/\/3dprintingindustry.com\/news\/tr-biofab-pulls-off-breakthrough-3d-bioprinted-liver-tissue-transplant-192682\/\"> tissus h\u00e9patiques<\/a>, mais sont encore loin de produire des organes biologiquement imprim\u00e9s comme solution de sant\u00e9 de masse. <a href=\"https:\/\/whattheythink.com\/articles\/112953-3d-printing-future-organ-transplants\/#:~:text=The%20entire%20process%20can%20be,once%20implanted%20in%20the%20body.\">On estime<\/a> que le processus de bio-impression lui-m\u00eame dure entre 4 et 6 semaines. Les patients en attente de poumons souffrent d&rsquo;essoufflement et d&rsquo;\u00e9puisement l\u00e9ger \u00e0 grave, et ceux en attente d&rsquo;une greffe de rein doivent souvent recourir \u00e0 la dialyse. Les d\u00e9lais, lorsqu&rsquo;une greffe est trouv\u00e9e, sont souvent extr\u00eamement courts. Par exemple, un c\u0153ur ne peut rester hors du corps que pendant cinq \u00e0 six heures avant de se d\u00e9t\u00e9riorer. Cela signifie que les patients sont souvent contraints d&rsquo;attendre, puis de se pr\u00e9cipiter une fois l&rsquo;organe obtenu. Il faut ensuite se concentrer sur les m\u00e9dicaments anti-rejet et encourager le corps \u00e0 accepter le nouvel organe, ce qui peut \u00eatre tout aussi difficile \u00e0 g\u00e9rer pour le patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le risque individuel associ\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;attente de chacun de ces organes varie consid\u00e9rablement en fonction de l&rsquo;organe lui-m\u00eame et du pays dans lequel vous \u00eates enregistr\u00e9 en tant que personne en attente.
