Pour d\u00e9terminer si cette technologie a le potentiel de combattre efficacement le virus, il faut d&rsquo;abord comprendre comment fonctionne l&rsquo;\u00e9clairage UV et les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s germicides qu&rsquo;il peut offrir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"quest-ce-que-leclairage-uv\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu&rsquo;est-ce que l&rsquo;\u00e9clairage UV ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La lumi\u00e8re ultraviolette (UV) est un type de rayonnement \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique pr\u00e9sent dans la lumi\u00e8re du soleil. La lumi\u00e8re UV peut y parvenir en faisant muter le mat\u00e9riel g\u00e9n\u00e9tique des virus et en rendant leur multiplication impossible. Cependant, cette longueur d&rsquo;onde n&rsquo;est peut-\u00eatre pas optimale pour tuer tous les virus. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour d\u00e9sinfecter les instruments m\u00e9dicaux plac\u00e9s dans des bo\u00eetes sp\u00e9ciales UV.<br><br><strong>Secteur des transports :<\/strong>&nbsp;Les robots UV sont \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9s pour d\u00e9sinfecter les transports publics tels que les bus, les trains et les avions. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une exposition aux UV pendant une p\u00e9riode d&rsquo;au moins 15 minutes pouvait inactiver le SRAS, ce qui pose la question de savoir si cette technologie pourrait \u00eatre appliqu\u00e9e au coronavirus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>Les r\u00e9sultats de notre \u00e9tude montrent qu&rsquo;une augmentation d&rsquo;une unit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;indice UV est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une baisse de 1,2 point de pourcentage des taux de croissance quotidiens des d\u00e9c\u00e8s cumul\u00e9s de COVID-19. Tr\u00e8s importante dans la lutte contre le coronavirus, l&rsquo;adoption de cette technologie a consid\u00e9rablement augment\u00e9 \u00e0 la suite de la pand\u00e9mie, afin de rendre les espaces publics plus s\u00fbrs en r\u00e9duisant la probabilit\u00e9 de transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>La taille du march\u00e9 mondial des LED UV devrait atteindre 1,71 milliard de dollars d&rsquo;ici 2027, contre 0,35 milliard de dollars en 2019.<\/em><\/p><cite><strong><em><em>March\u00e9 des LED UV par type (UVA, UVB et UVC), par mat\u00e9riau (carbure de silicium, nitrure de gallium, saphir et autres), par application (s\u00e9chage, purification, jardinage int\u00e9rieur, d\u00e9tection des contrefa\u00e7ons et autres) et par march\u00e9 vertical (sant\u00e9 et m\u00e9decine, agriculture, industrie, r\u00e9sidentiel et commercial) : Global Opportunity Analysis and Industry Forecast, 2020-2027 (analyse des opportunit\u00e9s et pr\u00e9visions de l&rsquo;industrie au niveau mondial).<\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9clairage UV n&rsquo;est pas sans limites, car il ne peut fonctionner efficacement que si le virus est directement expos\u00e9 au rayonnement sans l&rsquo;interf\u00e9rence de la poussi\u00e8re et des d\u00e9bris et si la dose et la dur\u00e9e de l&rsquo;\u00e9clairage UV sont suffisantes. Cependant, les recherches sugg\u00e8rent qu&rsquo;elle peut \u00eatre extr\u00eamement b\u00e9n\u00e9fique gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s germicides et \u00e0 sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 tuer les virus, notamment la Covid-19. Alors que le monde s&rsquo;appr\u00eate \u00e0 revenir \u00e0 la normale, l&rsquo;utilisation de cette technologie continuera de cro\u00eetre afin de cr\u00e9er un environnement plus s\u00fbr pour
