C&rsquo;est pourquoi les batteries au lithium-ion sont mieux adapt\u00e9es au march\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur densit\u00e9 de puissance \u00e9lev\u00e9e et \u00e0 l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;effet m\u00e9moire, qui se produit lorsque les batteries deviennent plus difficiles \u00e0 charger au fil du temps. Cependant, malgr\u00e9 ces caract\u00e9ristiques, les batteries ne sont pas toujours adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 tous les v\u00e9hicules, notamment aux v\u00e9hicules hybrides. Et c&rsquo;est l\u00e0 que les condensateurs peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s avec beaucoup d&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9. Comme nous le savons d\u00e9j\u00e0 en utilisant les condensateurs dans les circuits \u00e9lectriques, ils ont la capacit\u00e9 de se charger et de se d\u00e9charger rapidement selon les besoins. C&rsquo;est pourquoi ils sont les mieux adapt\u00e9s aux v\u00e9hicules hybrides qui ont besoin d&rsquo;une grande quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie dans un temps tr\u00e8s court, et pourquoi cette lacune est plus souvent combl\u00e9e par les supercondensateurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"que-sont-les-supercondensateurs\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Que sont les supercondensateurs ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les supercondensateurs (ou ultracondensateurs) se distinguent des condensateurs traditionnels de deux fa\u00e7ons : ils pr\u00e9sentent une surface de plaque plus importante ainsi qu&rsquo;un espace plus \u00e9troit entre ces plaques, car le s\u00e9parateur se comporte l\u00e9g\u00e8rement diff\u00e9remment d&rsquo;un di\u00e9lectrique standard.<br>Dans un condensateur classique, il y a deux plaques recouvertes d&rsquo;un mat\u00e9riau poreux en m\u00e9tal pour donner une plus grande surface de stockage de la charge, s\u00e9par\u00e9es par un film plastique \u00e9pais ou un di\u00e9lectrique en c\u00e9ramique. Lorsque le condensateur est charg\u00e9, le champ \u00e9lectrique est cr\u00e9\u00e9 par la charge positive qui se forme sur une plaque et la charge n\u00e9gative sur l&rsquo;autre. Cela polarise alors le di\u00e9lectrique et aligne les mol\u00e9cules dans la direction oppos\u00e9e au champ, r\u00e9duisant sa puissance et permettant aux plaques de stocker une charge plus importante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans un supercondensateur, il n&rsquo;y a pas de di\u00e9lectrique de mani\u00e8re traditionnelle. On trouve plut\u00f4t deux plaques tremp\u00e9es dans un \u00e9lectrolyte et s\u00e9par\u00e9es par un inducteur beaucoup plus fin (g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en plastique ou en papier). Lorsque les plaques d&rsquo;un supercondensateur sont charg\u00e9es, la charge oppos\u00e9e se forme des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de l&rsquo;inducteur. C&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;on appelle une \u00ab\u00a0double couche \u00e9lectrique\u00a0\u00bb, et c&rsquo;est pour cette raison que les supercondensateurs sont \u00e9galement appel\u00e9s condensateurs \u00e0 double couche. La densit\u00e9 de puissance d&rsquo;un supercondensateur est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement 10 fois sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 celle d&rsquo;une batterie classique, ce qui signifie qu&rsquo;ils sont capables de cycles de charge\/d\u00e9charge beaucoup plus rapides, de circuits de charge simplifi\u00e9s, d&rsquo;une dur\u00e9e de vie nettement plus longue, d&rsquo;une plage de temp\u00e9ratures de fonctionnement plus large et d&rsquo;un taux de d\u00e9charge \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour les charges qui n\u00e9cessitent une puissance \u00e9lev\u00e9e pendant une courte dur\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>La technologie se rapproche de plus en plus des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d&rsquo;une batterie rechargeable traditionnelle et forme un hybride interm\u00e9diaire entre le condensateur standard et la batterie.
