Il encode les informations sur les ondes radio en utilisant des impulsions chirp. Les donn\u00e9es peuvent \u00eatre transmises sur une plus grande port\u00e9e que les autres technologies sans fil telles que Wi-Fi, Bluetooth ou ZigBee. LoRa est donc id\u00e9al pour l&rsquo;envoi de donn\u00e9es de capteurs en mode faible consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De plus, LoRa peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 sur les bandes passantes sous-gigahertz sans licence, comme 915MHz, 868MHz et 433MHz. Il peut \u00e9galement fonctionner sur 2,4 GHz pour des d\u00e9bits de donn\u00e9es beaucoup plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s, au d\u00e9triment de la port\u00e9e. Le protocole lui-m\u00eame est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et maintenu par LoRa Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus important encore, la sp\u00e9cification LoRaWAN est une norme qui permet une int\u00e9gration harmonieuse entre les dispositifs d&rsquo;autres fabricants. Ce qui permet de capturer et de surveiller les donn\u00e9es de milliers de n\u0153uds de mani\u00e8re g\u00e9rable.<br><br><br><strong>End Nodes<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Dispositifs situ\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau. Ils sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e9quip\u00e9s de capteurs permettant de collecter et de surveiller p\u00e9riodiquement les donn\u00e9es. Ils re\u00e7oivent les informations des End Nodes \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un concentrateur LoRa, puis transmettent les donn\u00e9es au serveur r\u00e9seau via l&rsquo;internet ou une infrastructure de r\u00e9seau priv\u00e9e. Un exemple de serveur r\u00e9seau serait The Things Network (TTN).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Serveur d&rsquo;applications<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Le serveur d&rsquo;applications vous permet d&rsquo;interpr\u00e9ter les donn\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re visuelle ou analytique.
