Cette cat\u00e9gorie inclut le bois, les d\u00e9chets alimentaires, les r\u00e9sidus agricoles ainsi que les algues. Depuis que les premiers hominid\u00e9s ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 utiliser le feu pour se chauffer et cuisiner, l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie de la biomasse est utilis\u00e9e par l&rsquo;humanit\u00e9. Exemples : Microalgues, algues marines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"la-biomasse-est-elle-une-source-denergie-propre\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">La biomasse est-elle une source d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie propre ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La biomasse se compose de mat\u00e9riaux issus d&rsquo;\u00eatres vivants, principalement des plantes et des animaux, ce qui la rend organique. Les plantes, le bois et la liti\u00e8re sont parmi les ressources de biomasse les plus utilis\u00e9es pour l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. Biomass energy is also a non-renewable energy source.
