Datasentrene ligger ved kjernen av nesten alle applikasjoner vi bruker i dag: i bilsektoren og i produksjon, og i smarthjem. Uten n\u00e6rmest umiddelbar tilkobling til og fra serverrommet, stopper alt dette opp. Overv\u00e5king og vedlikehold av en konstant forsyning av stabil og effektiv energi som g\u00e5r gjennom store datamaskiner og overv\u00e5kingsutstyr bidrar til datasenterets oppetid, og er en grunnleggende m\u00e5lestokk av helhetlig ytelse. Denne artikkelen g\u00e5r n\u00e6rmere gjennom hvordan str\u00f8mforsyningen foreg\u00e5r i et datasenter, fremhever behovet for kvalitetsoverv\u00e5kning og hvordan man etablerer byggeblokkene for datasenterh\u00e5ndtering, s\u00e5kalte data centre infrastructure management (DCIM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"hvor-avhengige-er-vi-av-datasenter\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hvor avhengige er vi av datasenter?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I l\u00f8pet av mindre enn to ti\u00e5r har vi blitt fullstendig avhengige av datasenter. Nettskytilkobling er alltid tilstede, enten vi er hjemme og streamer en film, h\u00f8rer p\u00e5 favorittmusikken v\u00e5r eller ber smartassistenten skru p\u00e5 varmen. Den samme avhengigheten gjelder enten vi bruker bilen v\u00e5r, bruker en navigasjonsapp for \u00e5 unng\u00e5 forsinkelser. I fabrikker og kontorer er man avhengig av denne tilkobling for bruk i produksjon og for kontrollsystemer. Handelsn\u00e6ringen er like avhengig, og noe s\u00e5 enkelt som \u00e5 kj\u00f8pe en kaffe p\u00e5 en caf\u00e9 ville i mange tilfeller ikke v\u00e6rt mulig uten datasentre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Som forbrukere tar vi denne tilkoblingen nesten for gitt. Bak smarttelefonen, datamaskinen og den digitale assistenten er det en en lang kjede telekominfrastruktur som leder fram og tilbake til serverrommet. Bortsett fra den kraftige b\u00e5ndbredden datanettverk trenger for \u00e5 holde alt g\u00e5ende, er elektrisitet en annen grunnleggende faktor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Datasenter forbruker store mengder energi og betydelig innsats blir gjort for \u00e5 s\u00f8rge for at utstyr og infrastruktur er s\u00e5 effektive som mulig. Tilgjengelighet eller oppetid er en viktig m\u00e5lestokk som indikerer ytelse av et datasenter. I denne sektoren snakker man ofte om &laquo;fem ni-er&raquo; (five nines), et m\u00e5l som handler om \u00e5 s\u00f8rge for 99,999% (fem ni-er) oppetid. Dette tilsvarer en nedetid p\u00e5 omtrent fem minutter i \u00e5ret eller under et sekund om dagen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For \u00e5 oppn\u00e5 p\u00e5litelighet p\u00e5 en slik skala dupliseres servere, oppbevaringsutstyr og nettverk for \u00e5 bygge redundans. Disse overv\u00e5ker str\u00f8mmen konstant for \u00e5 oppdage avvik og g\u00e5r umiddelbart til verks for \u00e5 gjenoppstarte systemet og bytte tilbake til reservegeneratoren. Koblingsutstyr (2) isolerer og beskytter datasenter fra str\u00f8mnettet og distribuerer reservestr\u00f8mmen fra generatoren. Avbruddsfrie str\u00f8mforsyninger (3) tar h\u00f8yde for str\u00f8mbrudd og bygger bro mellom prim\u00e6rnettet og n\u00f8dgeneratoren. Disse str\u00f8mforsyningene beskytter kritisk utstyr fra harmoniske forstyrrelser, vekslende transienter og frekvensvariasjoner. Str\u00f8mdistribusjonsenheter (4) er siste stopp og disse leverer p\u00e5litelig str\u00f8m til dataserverne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette er utstyr som produserer mye varme og det er viktig \u00e5 holde disse avkj\u00f8lt for \u00e5 unng\u00e5 nedetid. Figur 2 viser det tradisjonelle utstyret som brukes for oppvarming, ventilasjon, og HVAC. Et DCIM-system (Data Centre Information Management) med et innebygd energisystem og et bygnignssystem er grunnleggende for energioverv\u00e5king i et datasenter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"integrerte-nettverk-overvaker-infrastruktur-og-stromkvalitet\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Integrerte nettverk overv\u00e5ker<\/strong> <strong> infrastruktur og str\u00f8mkvalitet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For \u00e5 etablere et omfattende DCIM-system trenger m\u00e5 alle deler- fra str\u00f8mdistribusjon, avkj\u00f8ling, UPS og koblingsutstyr &#8211; tilkobles et enkelt kontrollrom. Et robust og sikkert nettverk legger grunnlaget for et vellykket datasenter, med nettverksutstyr som gigabit ethernet-switcher med 2 og 3 lag, serielle- til-ethernet modbus gateway, ekstern I\/O og terminalservere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moxa er en verdensledende leverand\u00f8r av l\u00f8sninger innen industriell databehandling og nettverksinfrastruktur, for bruk knyttet til distribusjon av datasenter og industrielle tings internett (IIoT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moxaprodukter utviklet for datasenter inkluderer serielle-til-ethernet Modbus gateway og ekstern I\/O. Et godt eksempel her er <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elfadistrelec.no\/no\/modbus-gateway-rs232-rs422-rs485-modbus-tcp-ports-moxa-mgate-mb3170\/p\/30020753?queryFromSuggest=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MGate MB3170\/MB3270<\/a>-serien av Modbuss serielle-til-ethernet gateway (10\/100BaseTX) med 1 og 2 porter (figur 3). Den kan tilkoble opptil 32 Modbus TCP-servere og mellom 31 eller 62 Modbuss RTU\/ASCII-slaver, noe som gj\u00f8r at den er ideell for \u00e5 forene OT- og IT-milj\u00f8 man finner for str\u00f8m og avkj\u00f8ling. E1200-serien st\u00f8tter brukerdefinerte Modbuss TCP-slaver og RESTful API-protokoller for IIoT-applikasjoner, og har to ethernetporter med mulighet for upstream og downstream kjedetilkobling. Alle de t\u00f8ffe oppgavene knyttet til automatisert produksjon, str\u00f8mming i h\u00f8ykapasitet og trygg navigasjon er alle avhengige av datasentre og tilgangen deres. For \u00e5 oppn\u00e5 disse m\u00e5lene og \u00e5 drive energieffektive og b\u00e6rekraftige anlegg, er det grunnleggende \u00e5 implementere DCIM-systemer.
