James er opptatt av \u00e5 forst\u00e5 nye teknologier og innovasjoner fra ledende leverand\u00f8rer i optoelektrikkens verden, fra optikk og LED, til intelligente LED-drivere.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ultrafiolett lys er elektromagnetisk str\u00e5ling som ligger p\u00e5 utsiden av spekteret for synlig lys og best\u00e5r av 380-740 nm. UV-spekteret, som ligger mellom 100-400 nm, er ikke synlig for mennesker. Av lyset som n\u00e5r jordens overflate, er kun 5-6% UV. UV-spekteret best\u00e5r av fire kategorier, hvor hver har sin egen b\u00f8lgelengde, karakteristikker og applikasjoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>UVA<\/strong>= 315-400 nm. Dette er den minst farlige b\u00f8lgelengden og den b\u00f8lgelengden som er sterkest fra solen. Majoriteten av UVA g\u00e5r gjennom ozonlaget og n\u00e5r jordens overflate. Dette er grunnen til at vi blir brun n\u00e5r vi soler oss.<\/li><li><strong>UVB<\/strong> = 280-315 nm. Dette er sterkere b\u00f8lgelengder som syntetiserer vitamin D i kroppen n\u00e5r den kommer i kontakt med huden og ogs\u00e5 for hudforbrenninger. Disse absorberes for det meste av ozonlaget, selv om noe str\u00e5ling g\u00e5r gjennom.<\/li><li><strong>UVC<\/strong> = 200-280 nm. Disse b\u00f8lgelengdene penetrerer vanligvis ikke ozonlaget og dette er b\u00f8lgelengden som oftest brukes for desinfisering.<\/li><li><strong>VUV<\/strong> = 100-200 nm. Denne absorberes for det meste av vabnn og luft, og kan kun overf\u00f8res i vakuum. Selv om den ikke n\u00e5r jorden, har UVC den sterkeste steriliseringseffekten sammenlignet med de andre typene. Fordi UVC kan for\u00e5rsake molekyl\u00e6r celleskade er den ideell for desinfisering. UVB har ogs\u00e5 denne egenskapen, men er ikke n\u00e6r \u00e5 v\u00e6re like sterk. UVB-str\u00e5ling fra naturlig sollys er den farligste komponenten. Disse str\u00e5lene skader menneskelige celler, gj\u00f8r at vi brenner huden om vi er for lenge ute i sola uten beskyttelse og kan ogs\u00e5 f\u00f8re til hudkreft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I motsetning til UVC kan UVB kun forstyrre DNA-celler og dreper ikke mikroorganismer like effektivt.\r\nMikroorgansimer er betraktelig mindre enn menneskelige celler, s\u00e5 for \u00e5 kunne bryte gjennom til deres cellestruktuer trenger man mindre UVC-b\u00f8lgelengder. En mikroorgansime inneholder kjernecellen tymin, som er en nukleobase i DNA\/RNA. Tymin absorberer UVC ved b\u00f8lgelengder p\u00e5 253.7 nm, og denne str\u00e5lingen modifiserer mikrobisk DNA. Denne endringen f\u00f8rer til alvorlige forstyrrelser i mikrobiell replikasjon og i proteinproduksjonen som er grunnleggende for cellenes overlevelse. DNA\/RNA endres kjemisk, noe som betyr at organismen ikke lenger kan formere seg.\r\n\r\n5. Ettersom den ikke er i stand til \u00e5 metabolisere eller formere seg, kan ikke organismen lenger for\u00e5rsake eller spre sykdommer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det b\u00f8r bemerkes at UV-str\u00e5ling ikke diskriminerer n\u00e5r det kommer til \u00f8deleggelse av genetisk materiale. Denne b\u00f8lgelengden kan skade menneskelige celler, dyreceller og \u00f8yeceller. Langvarig eksponering av UVC-str\u00e5ling kan f\u00f8re til brannskader, hudskader, konjunktivitt og i verste fall kreft. N\u00e5r man arbeider med UV-lys er det viktig \u00e5 beskytte hud og \u00f8yne, og lyskilden skal aldri rettes mot disse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"uvc-led\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">UVC LED<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>UVC LED brukes ofte i desinfisering og dette er produkter som har utviklet seg betraktelig de siste \u00e5rene. LED bruker ikke kvikks\u00f8lv, noe som betyr at det ikke er like skadelig for milj\u00f8et, og skiller seg ut med kompakt st\u00f8rrelse og lang levetid.
