Radioaktivt avfall og skadelige materialer som cyanid slippes ut i \u00f8kosystemet ved utvinning av blant annet s\u00f8lv og gull, en prosess som har en negativ innvirkning p\u00e5 dyreliv og menneskehelse.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"produksjon\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Produksjon<\/h3>\n\n<p>Elektronikkproduksjon er en stor bidragsyter n\u00e5r det kommer til karbonutslippene som bidrar til klimaendringene. I tillegg til \u00e5 bruke mye energi produseres det ogs\u00e5 mye avfall som ender opp i deponier og slipper ut farlige stoffer i n\u00e6rliggende jord og vann.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"bruk\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bruk<\/h3>\n\n<p>Det er en skjult milj\u00f8kostnad knyttet til bruken av elektronikk fordi de produserer mye karbonutslipp gjennom sin levetid. Velger man energieffektive apparater kan man spare store summer. En oppvaskmaskin med en A-klassifisering beh\u00f8ver mindre energi enn et apparat med en h\u00f8yere klassifisering.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"stromstyring\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Str\u00f8mstyring<\/h3>\n\n<p>Optimaliser energibehovet ved \u00e5 installere st\u00f8rmstyringsfunksjoner i utstyret ditt. Servere med kjerneparkering (lar deg sl\u00e5 av CPU-kjernen helt) og CPU throttling (reduserer ytelsen) kan redusere str\u00f8mforbruket betraktelig, spesielt i rolige perioder.
