Ta for eksempel jernbanetransport. Deler av den elektriske installasjonen av en motor, personvogner og godsvogner m\u00e5 monteres eksternt og utsettes for inntrengning av vann, olje og mange forskjellige typer partikler. Og om de er montert inne i en vogn, vil de ogs\u00e5 der bli utsatt for fysiske st\u00f8t og kraftige vibrasjoner daglig. Sitteplasser har vanligvis str\u00f8muttak og USB-uttak. Informasjonsskjermer viser hvor langt man har kommet p\u00e5 reisen og sannsynligheten for forsinkelser. Offentlig Wi-Fi, oppvarmings- og ventilasjonssystemer i vognene og infotainmentsystemer gj\u00f8r turen behagelig. Sikkerhetsfunksjoner som r\u00f8ykvarslere og sikkerhetskameraer er allestedsn\u00e6rv\u00e6rende. D\u00f8rkontroller, d\u00f8r\u00e5pnere og n\u00f8dbelysning er alle elektronisk styrt i dag, og som alt annet som er nevnt krever de str\u00f8m. Slike elektronikkbaserte systemer og tilh\u00f8rende str\u00f8mforsyninger utsatt for spenningsvariasjoner, avbrudd og milj\u00f8p\u00e5virkning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Str\u00f8mforsyning er sannsynligvis noe vi alle tar for gitt i v\u00e5re hjem og p\u00e5 arbeidsplassen. Str\u00f8mbrudd er vanligvis uvanlig og tilgang til en p\u00e5litelig og stabil hovedstr\u00f8mforsyning er normen. Men for jernbane- og andre transportapplikasjoner er ikke stabiliteten og p\u00e5liteligheten til str\u00f8mforsyningen like sikker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"forsta-de-elektriske-og-miljomessige-utfordringene-ved-jernbaneapplikasjoner\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forst\u00e5 de elektriske og milj\u00f8messige utfordringene ved jernbaneapplikasjoner<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Str\u00f8mmen som er tilgjengelig p\u00e5 et tog kommer fra en generator koblet til hovedmotoren eller via en overliggende str\u00f8mavtaker. Begge er utsatt for spennings-topper, overspenninger og frafall -noen av disse skyldes et utall elektrisk og elektromekanisk utstyr som brukes til systemer for rullende materiell, for eksempel bremsing. Det oppst\u00e5r ogs\u00e5 midlertidige avbrudd i forsyningen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et annet vesentlig aspekt ved jernbane er milj\u00f8forholdene. Noen systemer er montert eksternt, utsatt for ekstreme forhold som v\u00e6r, regn, sn\u00f8, is og temperatursvingninger. St\u00f8v, spesielt med elektrisk ledende partikler, er en spesiell fare. Og inne i en passasjervogn oppst\u00e5r kondens regelmessig. I tilegg har har man stadige fysiske st\u00f8t, vibrasjoner og raske bevegelseskrefter som vi alle legger merke til.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e5r vi velger en str\u00f8mforsyning for en jernbaneapplikasjon, la oss unders\u00f8ke flere viktige hensyn, som starter med forsyningsspenningen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"jernbanens-spenningskilder\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jernbanens spenningskilder<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De fleste jernbaneforsyninger for elektronikkbasert utstyr er DC, med vekt p\u00e5 applikasjonen ved bruk av DC\/DC-omformere. Som allerede fremhevet, er forsyningen innen elektrisk terminologi st\u00f8yende. I l\u00f8pet av utviklingen av jernbanelektriske systemer har det blitt utarbeidet standarder som gir en relativt veldefinert spesifikasjon som en str\u00f8mforsyning skal fungere under. EN 50155: 2017 er hovedstandarden som dekker meste av utstyr for spenning, milj\u00f8 og sikkerhet. Standarden fastsetter flere nominelle arbeidsspenninger (Vnom), hvorav tre er vist i figur 1. Det kontinuerlige driftsspenningsomr\u00e5det er farget gr\u00e5tt, og den &laquo;brune&raquo; spenningen, i hovedsak en kortsiktig nedgang eller drop i inngangsspenningen for 100 ms i r\u00f8dt. For eksempel, basert p\u00e5 en 24 VDC nominell, er inngangsspenningsomr\u00e5det 9 VDC til 36 VDC. Utenom disse spesifikasjonene gir ytterligere hold-up-kondensatorer en kort periode med fortsatt drift og m\u00e5 t\u00e5le overspenninger. Jernbanestandard RIA12 krever utvidet immunitet mot overspenninger opp til 8,5 kV med 100 ns varighet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"elektromagnetisk-immunitet-emi-elektromagnetisk-kompatibilitet-emc-og-elektrostatisk-utladning-esd\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Elektromagnetisk immunitet (EMI), elektromagnetisk kompatibilitet (EMC) og elektrostatisk utladning (ESD)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00f8yspenningstransienter med kort varighet p\u00e5 nanosekunder (h\u00f8y dV\/dt) p\u00e5 tusenvis av volt kan lett skade eller forstyrre driften til f\u00f8lsomme elektroniske systemer. Slike transienter kan utstr\u00e5les elektromagnetisk eller ledes gjennom str\u00f8mforsyningsskinner. Funksjonen til en str\u00f8mforsyning kan for\u00e5rsake problemer eller forstyrre annet utstyr. P\u00e5 samme m\u00e5te m\u00e5 en str\u00f8mforsyning v\u00e6re immun mot utslipp fra andre elektromagnetiske kilder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EMC angir om for eksempel en DC\/DC-omformer skaper elektromagnetiske forstyrrelser, og standardene EN 61000-4 (utstr\u00e5lt) og EN 50121-3-2 (ledet) gjelder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EN 61000-4 dekker ogs\u00e5 elektromagnetisk immunitet mot utstr\u00e5lt og ledet st\u00f8y, overspenninger, raske h\u00f8yspenningstransienter og elektrostatisk utladning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"fysiske-stot-vibrasjoner-og-miljohensyn\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fysiske st\u00f8t, vibrasjoner og milj\u00f8hensyn<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fysiske st\u00f8t og vibrasjon er kanskje de betydeligste mekaniske kreftene som en DC\/DC-omformer blir utsatt for. Standard EN 61373 fastsetter forskjellige kategorier avhengig av monteringsstedet. Mindre krefter oppleves p\u00e5 eller inne i togvognene, mens montering p\u00e5 en akselenhet medf\u00f8rer de kraftigste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Milj\u00f8standarder ang\u00e5ende temperatur og fuktighet er beskrevet i henhold til EN 50155, kategorisert i henhold til monteringsstedet, enten i et internt skap eller eksternt. P\u00e5virkningen av plutselig temperatursjokk mellom vesentlig forskjellige temperaturer som potensielt kan resultere i kondens er et annet krav i denne standarden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Av sikkerhetsmessige \u00e5rsaker m\u00e5 DC\/DC-omformere som brukes i jernbaneapplikasjoner ogs\u00e5 v\u00e6re i samsvar med EN 45545-2. Typiske applikasjoner inkluderer bremsestyring og bryter\/signalstyringsapplikasjoner. TEP 40 UIR-serien har to inngangsspenningsvarianter p\u00e5 nominelt 36 VDC eller 110 VDC. Begge versjonene har popul\u00e6re nominelle utgangsspenninger p\u00e5 5 VDC, 12 VDC, 15 VDC, 24 VDC og 48 VDC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For jernbaneapplikasjoner som krever kompakte, fullt regulerte og isolerte DC\/DC-omformere med lav effekt, er TMR 6WIR-serien p\u00e5 6 Watt en ideell l\u00f8sning. Den kortmonterte serien har SIP-8 metallhus for \u00e5 oppta minimalt med plass p\u00e5 kretskortet. En typisk bruksomr\u00e5de er d\u00f8rkontrollsystemer p\u00e5 tog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En annen kompakt DC\/DC-omformer med industristandard 1-tommers x 2-tommers formfaktor i en lavprofilert metallkapsling er TEN 20WIN-serien p\u00e5 20 Watt. Kommunikasjonssystemer er typiske bruksomr\u00e5der for denne serien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TFI 300 er et overspenningsfilter p\u00e5 300 Watt, som overholder RIA12-overspenningsstandarden -se figur 5. Plassert foran en DC\/DC-omformer beskytter TFI omformeren mot skader ved aktivt \u00e5 undertrykkke inngangsspenninger over 168 VDC.
