Den h\u00e4r artikeln beskriver den senaste utvecklingen av en-par-Ethernet och hur Ethernet-protokollet kan l\u00e4nka fr\u00e5n f\u00f6retags IT-system \u00e4nda ut till OT-kanten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"framvaxten-av-de-anslutna-maskinerna\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Framv\u00e4xten av de anslutna maskinerna<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Industriella omvandlingsinitiativ som &#8221;Industry 4.0&#8221; ansvarar f\u00f6r att st\u00e4rka m\u00e5nga fabriker och tillverkningsverksamheter. Med fokus p\u00e5 att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra en process eller anl\u00e4ggnings \u00f6vergripande operativa effektivitet \u00e4r insamling av data av st\u00f6rsta vikt. Timing \u00e4r ofta avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r framg\u00e5ng f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga saker i livet, och det var verkligen fallet n\u00e4r &#8221;Industry 4.0&#8221; m\u00f6tte konceptet Internet of Things (IoT). IoT, n\u00e4rmare best\u00e4mt nu industriellt IoT (IIoT), var precis vad som beh\u00f6vdes f\u00f6r att koppla ihop motorer, sensorer, st\u00e4lldon och den m\u00e4ngd annan styrutrustning som anv\u00e4nds i en automatiserad process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Att koppla ihop styrsystem och komponenter \u00e4r dock i sig inget nytt koncept. I mer \u00e4n fyrtio \u00e5r har industriella processreglerare anv\u00e4nt seriella n\u00e4tverksprotokoll som Profibus, RS232\/422 och Modbus. Gr\u00e4nssnitt mellan f\u00f6retags IT-system blev en komplex uppgift f\u00f6r dedikerade gateways och servrar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"ethernet-arvet\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ethernet-arvet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Datorv\u00e4rlden har f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrats mycket sedan 80-talet. Till en b\u00f6rjan var det komplicerat att koppla samman enskilda datorer, med m\u00e5nga propriet\u00e4ra n\u00e4tverksprotokoll som konkurrerade om att dominera. Ethernet blev snabbt en g\u00e5ngbar standard f\u00f6r n\u00e4tverksbyggande i fordon och applikationer f\u00f6r byggnadsautomation. Industriella Ethernet-anpassningar s\u00e5som realtid, deterministiskt #time-sensitive networking&#8221; (TSN), och dess f\u00f6rm\u00e5ga att transportera flera \u00e4ldre protokoll, visar Ethernets l\u00e4mplighet f\u00f6r alla typer av automatisering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"industriella-natverkskrav\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Industriella n\u00e4tverkskrav<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Den industriella milj\u00f6n skiljer sig fr\u00e5n de flesta kontor och datacenter. Ethernets defakto RJ45 fyr-par tvinnat par-kontaktarrangemang som anv\u00e4nds i hem och kontor \u00e4r illa l\u00e4mpade f\u00f6r industriell anv\u00e4ndning. N\u00e4tverkskablar och kontakter som l\u00e4nkar produktionstillg\u00e5ngar och sensorer till styrsystem m\u00f6ter en h\u00e5rd driftsmilj\u00f6 med specifika mekaniska begr\u00e4nsningar. Milj\u00f6faktorer som vibrationer, fukt och behovet av intr\u00e4ngningsskydd. I industriella styrsk\u00e5p med begr\u00e4nsat utrymme \u00e4r utrustningst\u00e4theten h\u00f6g, och kablar m\u00e5ste vara mycket flexibla med sn\u00e4v b\u00f6jradie. P\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt s\u00e4tter skydd av kablar i metallr\u00f6r begr\u00e4nsningar f\u00f6r de kabelstorlekar som anv\u00e4nds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den snabba tillv\u00e4xten av implementering av smart edge-baserade IIoT-enheter kr\u00e4ver en str\u00f6mk\u00e4lla ut\u00f6ver tr\u00e5dbunden anslutning. Ethernet erbjuder en Power over Ethernet-kapacitet (PoE), men tjockleken, vikten och kostnaden f\u00f6r att installera en traditionell Ethernet-kabel med \u00e5tta ledare \u00e4r helt uteslutet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"en-par-ethernet-det-perfekta-valet-for-industriella-applikationer\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">En-par Ethernet; det perfekta valet f\u00f6r industriella applikationer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gigabit en-par Ethernet (single pair Ethernet, SPE) standarden, IEEE 802.3bp 1000BASE-T1, etablerades 2019. Som namnet antyder anv\u00e4nder den ett enda tvinnat ledarpar och erbjuder ett maximalt l\u00e4nkavst\u00e5nd p\u00e5 15 meter med osk\u00e4rmad kabel, och 40 meter med sk\u00e4rmad kabel. J\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med en vanlig fyr-par Ethernet Cat 6-kabel med AWG 23-ledare \u00e4r en SPE-kabel 60 % l\u00e4ttare och har betydligt mindre diameter. Som p\u00e5visats \u00e4r RJ45-kontakten ol\u00e4mplig f\u00f6r industriell anv\u00e4ndning, vilket kr\u00e4ver ytterligare unders\u00f6kning av ett kontaktformat som industrin kan anv\u00e4nda. I mars 2020 lanserades tillk\u00e4nnagivandet av IEC 63171-kontaktstandarden f\u00f6r SPE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En standard f\u00f6r kraftleveranskapacitet som kallas &#8221;power over data line&#8221; (PoDL) definieras i IEEE 802.3bu. Nio str\u00f6m- och sp\u00e4nningskombinationsklasser till\u00e5ter maximalt 50 W levererat till slutenheten. En nyligen genomf\u00f6rd revidering av PoDL-standarden, 802.3cg, l\u00e4gger till sex klasser, se figur 2, som ger maximalt 52 W levererat till lasten. De rymmer separata och \u00f6ver datalinjestr\u00f6mf\u00f6rs\u00f6rjningsm\u00f6jligheter, intr\u00e4ngningsskydd och anv\u00e4ndning av sk\u00e4rmade eller osk\u00e4rmade kabeltyper.
