Men st\u00f6djande och lika v\u00e4sentliga komponenter, s\u00e5som passiva (induktorer, kondensatorer och resistorer), kr\u00e4vs i hundratal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Behovet av komponentminiatyrisering \u00e4r dock inte begr\u00e4nsat till bara elektroniska komponenter. Fabrikens golvyta \u00e4r ett fokus inom den industriella dom\u00e4nen, och det tillg\u00e4ngliga utrymmet f\u00f6r varje produktionstillg\u00e5ng, sensor och st\u00e4lldon \u00e4r begr\u00e4nsat. F\u00f6ljaktligen m\u00e5ste n\u00e4sta generation av varje produktionstillg\u00e5ng vara mindre och ge mer funktionalitet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den h\u00e4r artikeln fokuserar p\u00e5 hur fortsatt komponentminiatyrisering \u00e4r av st\u00f6rsta vikt inom den industriella dom\u00e4nen, oavsett om det \u00e4r en elektronisk komponent eller en industriell sensor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"komponentminiatyrisering-stravar-framat\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Komponentminiatyrisering str\u00e4var fram\u00e5t<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar sker st\u00e4ndigt inom elektronikindustrin. Sedan transistorns f\u00f6delse i slutet av 1940-talet p\u00e5b\u00f6rjade forskare en evolution\u00e4r resa som skulle komma att fokusera p\u00e5 miniatyrisering. Ett decennium senare utvecklades den f\u00f6rsta integrerade kretsen (IC) inneh\u00e5llande fyra transistorer av Robert Noyce p\u00e5 Fairchild Semiconductor. Spola fram till idag och du hittar tiotals miljarder transistorer i de fr\u00e4msta processorerna. Processen att tillverka halvledare p\u00e5 en allt mindre yta har avancerat avsev\u00e4rt. Men framstegen inom komponentdesign och tillverkning har ocks\u00e5 gynnat den bredare elektronikindustrin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"effekten-av-tekniska-framsteg-for-elektroniska-komponenter\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Effekten av tekniska framsteg f\u00f6r elektroniska komponenter<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Den f\u00f6rsta transistorprototypen var ett stor pj\u00e4s j\u00e4mf\u00f6rt med dagens enheter. Den var dock betydligt mindre \u00e4n den \u00e4ldre tekniken fr\u00e5n den eran: elektronr\u00f6r. Transistorn var inte bara mindre, utan str\u00f6mf\u00f6rs\u00f6rjningen var ocks\u00e5 mindre komplicerad \u00e4n vad som anv\u00e4ndes f\u00f6r r\u00f6r. Dessutom, utan behov av ett uppv\u00e4rmningselement, blev kretsen kall. I ett tidigt skede kunde ingenj\u00f6rer se potentialen i vad integrationen av transistorer i en integrerad krets kunde \u00e5stadkomma. M\u00e5nga smartphones anv\u00e4nder integrerade kretsar baserade p\u00e5 5 nm-processen, och ber\u00e4kningskraften hos dess 30 miljarder transistorer m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r telefonens drift och alla v\u00e5ra popul\u00e4ra appar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transistorer och halvledarkretsar \u00e4r kapslade enligt ytmonteringsstandard (SMT) kapselspecifikationer som hanteras av JEDEC Solid State Technology Association. Detsamma g\u00e4ller f\u00f6r ytmonterade passiva komponenter som kondensatorer, resistorer och induktorer. N\u00e4r halvledare krymper och deras kapacitet \u00f6kar, \u00e4r behovet av att deras st\u00f6djande passiva komponenter minskar i storlek av st\u00f6rsta vikt. Se p\u00e5 alla inbyggda systemdesigner idag, s\u00e5 kommer du bara se ett par komplexa IC-kretsar. Det kommer dock att finnas m\u00e5nga hundra passiva komponenter placerade runt IC-kretsarna som \u00e4r grundl\u00e4ggande f\u00f6r deras funktion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ett exempel p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.distrelec.ch\/en\/semiconductors\/c\/cat-L2D_379524\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">transistor<\/a> kapselformat \u00e4r SOT23-3 (<strong>S<\/strong>mall <strong>O<\/strong>utline <strong>T<\/strong>ransistor). Den anv\u00e4nds vanligtvis f\u00f6r sm\u00e5signaltransistorer, den har tre ben och m\u00e4ter 3 mm x 1.75 mm x 1.3 mm.
