Trots att vara &#8221;universell&#8221; finns det nu m\u00e5nga andra USB-typer. Bland andra finns USB-C som blir mer av en norm f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga enheter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enligt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/en\/press-room\/20220930IPR41928\/long-awaited-common-charger-for-mobile-devices-will-be-a-reality-in-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">g\u00e4llande EU-lagstiftning<\/a> m\u00e5ste alla smartphones, surfplattor och kameror som s\u00e4ljs i EU i slutet av 2024 ha en USB typ-C-laddport. Det kommer \u00e4ven att g\u00e4lla f\u00f6r b\u00e4rbara datorer fr\u00e5n v\u00e5ren 2026.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USB-C-portar kommer att bli nyckeln f\u00f6r branschen som tidigare fokuserat p\u00e5 andra USB-typer. Sedan dess har USB utvecklats avsev\u00e4rt i b\u00e5de hastighet och kapacitet, vilket \u00e4r fallet med de flesta tekniska standarder, vars nya versioner sl\u00e4pps med n\u00e5gra \u00e5rs mellanrum.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tidigare fanns det andra anslutningstyper, var och en med sina egna specialiteter, s\u00e5som ADB, FireWire och SCSI. De ursprungliga seriella och parallella anslutningarna ersattes dock av USB. Mindre enheter som spelkontroller, mobiltelefoner, b\u00e4rbara kameror etc. anv\u00e4nder dem f\u00f6r att de \u00e4r utrymmesbesparande. De \u00e4r endast kompatibla med USB 1.1- och 2.0-hastigheter och finns i fyra- och fem-pinsvarianter.<\/li><li><strong>Micro USB A &amp; B<\/strong> har rundad topp och flat botten. De \u00e4r sm\u00e5 kontakter, som oftast anv\u00e4nds i viss elektronik, som t ex smartphones, kringutrustning f\u00f6r datorer och spelkontroller.<\/li><li><strong>USB-C <\/strong>&#8211; denna fysiska standard f\u00f6r USB-kontakter har 24 pinnar och \u00e4r pillerformad. Bokstaven C h\u00e4nvisar till kontaktens fysiska arrangemang eller formfaktor, och den b\u00f6r inte f\u00f6rv\u00e4xlas med kontaktens exakta kapacitet, som best\u00e4ms av dess \u00f6verf\u00f6ringskrav.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USB-C, den senaste kontakten, \u00e4r snabbare, kraftfullare och anv\u00e4ndarv\u00e4nligare \u00e4n \u00e4ldre USB-typer och g\u00f6r att str\u00f6m och data kan \u00f6verf\u00f6ras via samma kabel. USB-C-kontakten skapades av <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usb.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">USB Implementers Forum<\/a> (USB-IF), en grupp f\u00f6retag som genom \u00e5ren har utvecklat, godk\u00e4nt och v\u00e4glett USB-standarden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Med lanseringen av iPhone 5 2012 blev Lightning-kablar utbredda och \u00e4r nu normen f\u00f6r att ladda och ansluta dem till olika enheter. Eftersom USB-C anv\u00e4nds s\u00e5 flitigt kommer EU att b\u00f6rja kr\u00e4va att enheter ska anv\u00e4nda USB-C f\u00f6r batteriladdning 2024, som ett s\u00e4tt att f\u00f6renkla det digitala livet.
