Idag \u00e4r det en l\u00f6sning som kan anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r att minska m\u00e4ngden v\u00e4xthusgaser.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>Geotermisk energi \u00e4r en f\u00f6rnybar k\u00e4lla som tillgodoser en stor del av elbehoven i Europa och p\u00e5 andra platser, bland annat p\u00e5 Island (d\u00e4r den tillgodoser 90 % av Islands v\u00e4rmebehov), i El Salvador, Nya Zeeland, Kenya och Filippinerna. Trots det hamnar den efter andra f\u00f6rnybara k\u00e4llor. I likhet med <a href=\"https:\/\/knowhow.distrelec.com\/sv\/forsvar-flyg-och-marin\/havsvattenenergi-kan-forandra-varlden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vattenkraft<\/a> anv\u00e4nds geotermisk energi f\u00f6rh\u00e5llandevis lite i j\u00e4mf\u00f6relse med andra f\u00f6rnybara energik\u00e4llor som vind- och solkraft. L\u00e4s vidare f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 reda p\u00e5 det.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"vad-ar-geotermisk-energi\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vad \u00e4r geotermisk energi?<\/h2>\n\n<p>Geotermisk energi \u00e4r v\u00e4rme som produceras av jorden. Ordet geotermi kommer fr\u00e5n grekiskan. \u201dGeo\u201d betyder jord p\u00e5 grekiska och \u201dtermi\u201d betyder v\u00e4rme. Det \u00e4r en resurs som m\u00e4nniskan kan anv\u00e4nda och som \u00e4r f\u00f6rnybar.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>Geotermiska resurser \u00e4r naturliga eller konstgjort skapade ansamlingar av varmvatten i olika temperaturer och p\u00e5 olika djup under jordens yta. Friktionen och gravitationskraften som uppstod n\u00e4r jorden skapades f\u00f6r 4 miljarder \u00e5r sedan kan f\u00f6rse oss med en liten del av den h\u00e4r v\u00e4rmen fr\u00e5n jordens k\u00e4rna.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<p>Det finns flera olika geotermiska tekniker som \u00e4r olika l\u00e5ngt utvecklade. Tekniker f\u00f6r direkt anv\u00e4ndning, till exempel till fj\u00e4rrv\u00e4rme, bergv\u00e4rmepumpar och v\u00e4rme i v\u00e4xthus, \u00e4r v\u00e4l etablerade.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"for-och-nackdelar-med-geotermisk-energi\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">F\u00f6r- och nackdelar med geotermisk energi<\/h2>\n\n<p>Den fr\u00e4msta f\u00f6rdelen med geotermisk energi \u00e4r vinsterna f\u00f6r milj\u00f6n. Det \u00e4r en naturlig resurs som \u00e4ven djuren utnyttjar. Men det g\u00e4ller n\u00e4r det geotermiska kraftverket v\u00e4l \u00e4r byggt. Det \u00e4r n\u00e4mligen ganska dyrt att borra och prospektera de h\u00e4r platserna, s\u00e5 geotermiska system \u00e4r dyrare \u00e4n andra att installera. Med tiden f\u00e5r dock hus\u00e4garna gratis v\u00e4rme och kylning plus rej\u00e4lt mycket billigare elr\u00e4kningar.<\/p>\n\n<p>Den \u00e4r dessutom alltid konstant, till skillnad fr\u00e5n andra f\u00f6rnybara k\u00e4llor som sol- och vindkraft som beh\u00f6ver solljus och vind f\u00f6r att vara s\u00e5 effektiva som m\u00f6jligt. Den \u00e4r dock inte alls lika popul\u00e4r.<\/p>\n\n<p>Man kan borra brunnar i jorden f\u00f6r att utnyttja den h\u00e4r energin. Brunnarna anv\u00e4nds i geotermiska kraftverk f\u00f6r att h\u00e4mta \u00e5nga och varmt vatten f\u00f6r att driva turbiner som genererar energi. De h\u00e4r geotermiska resurserna driver turbiner som \u00e4r anslutna till elgeneratorer.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Det finns tre typer av geotermiska anl\u00e4ggningar:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>\u00c5ngturbiner<\/strong> \u2013 det h\u00e4r \u00e4r den \u00e4ldsta typen och h\u00e4r anv\u00e4nder man \u00e5nga fr\u00e5n sprickor i jorden f\u00f6r att driva en turbin.<\/li><li><strong>Flash-anl\u00e4ggningar<\/strong> \u2013 h\u00e4r anv\u00e4nder man varmt vatten med h\u00f6gt tryck som finns under ytan och kombinerar det med svalare vatten med mindre tryck. D\u00e5 f\u00f6rgasas v\u00e4tskan och \u00e5ngan anv\u00e4nds till att driva turbinen.<\/li><li><strong>Bin\u00e4ra kraftverk<\/strong> \u2013 h\u00e4r anv\u00e4nder man varmt vatten som har passerat genom en arbetsv\u00e4tska med l\u00e4gre kokpunkt \u00e4n vatten. Turbinen drivs av \u00e5ngan fr\u00e5n den f\u00f6rgasade arbetsv\u00e4tskan. Hitta en k\u00e4lla<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Det f\u00f6rsta steget \u00e4r att hitta en passande geotermisk resurs. Ofta hittar man dem n\u00e4ra aktiva eller inaktiva vulkaner, varma k\u00e4llor eller gejsrar. En av v\u00e4rldens mest aktiva geotermiska regioner \u00e4r eldringen runt Stilla havet.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>2. Borra brunnar<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>N\u00e4r man har hittat en geotermisk k\u00e4lla borrar man en brunn ner i jorden till den geotermiska k\u00e4llan. Andra stora producenter finns i Indonesien, Filippinerna, Turkiet, Nya Zeeland, Mexiko, Kenya, Italien, Island och Japan (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobaleconomy.com\/rankings\/geothermal_electricity_capacity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Global Economy<\/a>, 2000\u20132020).<\/p>\n\n<p>Geotermisk energi blir alltmer popul\u00e4rt, men ligger fortfarande efter andra f\u00f6rnybara energik\u00e4llor. Det trots att det finns stor utvecklingspotential i m\u00e5nga l\u00e4nder. Enligt en <a href=\"https:\/\/cordis.europa.eu\/article\/id\/138535-geothermal-district-heating-has-the-potential-to-alleviate-europes-energy-security-crisis\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">europeisk studie<\/a> bor mer \u00e4n 25 % av EU:s befolkning i omr\u00e5den som passar perfekt f\u00f6r geotermisk fj\u00e4rrv\u00e4rme. System f\u00f6r geotermisk fj\u00e4rrv\u00e4rme finns redan i 22 europeiska l\u00e4nder, bland annat Ungern, Polen, Slovakien, Slovenien, Tjeckien och Rum\u00e4nien. H\u00e4r \u00e4r de befintliga v\u00e4rmen\u00e4ten v\u00e4l utvecklade och det finns stor potential i Central- och \u00d6steuropa.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"den-geotermiska-energins-framtid\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Den geotermiska energins framtid<\/h2>\n\n<p>Geotermisk energi \u00e4r den fj\u00e4rde viktigaste f\u00f6rnybara energik\u00e4llan, efter sol-, vind- och vattenkraft, <a href=\"https:\/\/css.umich.edu\/publications\/factsheets\/energy\/geothermal-energy-factsheet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">med en potential att v\u00e4xa fr\u00e5n 16 miljarder kWh under 2021 till 47,7 miljarder kWh 2050<\/a>. M\u00e5nga ser det som en avg\u00f6rande komponent i v\u00e4rldens gr\u00f6na energiomst\u00e4llning. Geotermiska k\u00e4llor kan anv\u00e4ndas till att producera el i alla typer av system, fr\u00e5n stora sammankopplade utlandsf\u00f6rbindelser till lokala installationer p\u00e5 avl\u00e4gsna platser, i sm\u00e5 bostadsomr\u00e5den eller enskilda hus.
