Till att b\u00f6rja med handlar det inte bara om att uppr\u00e4tth\u00e5lla jord, utan att se till att den regenereras, s\u00e5 det involverar metoder som skapar \u00f6verfl\u00f6d och m\u00e5ngfald av jordmikrober. Det \u00e4r en del av \u201dn\u00e4ringscykelns\u201d aktiviteter, som \u00e4r avg\u00f6rande f\u00f6r ekosystem och h\u00e4lsosamma livsmedel. Den st\u00e5r inf\u00f6r m\u00e5nga utmaningar, fr\u00e5n hunger och avskogning till torka och \u00f6versv\u00e4mningar. Regenerativa livsmedelssystem kan hj\u00e4lpa till att v\u00e4nda detta och potentiellt uppn\u00e5 nettonoll, naturpositiva resultat i slutet av \u00e5rtiondet genom att f\u00f6rvandla jordbruksmark och betesmarker till kols\u00e4nkor, v\u00e4nda skogsf\u00f6rluster och f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra sk\u00f6rdarna. RA kan hj\u00e4lpa till med klimatbegr\u00e4nsning och anpassning.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h4 id=\"klimatbegransning\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Klimatbegr\u00e4nsning<\/h4>\n\n<p>Klimatbegr\u00e4nsning avser anstr\u00e4ngningar f\u00f6r att minska eller f\u00f6rhindra utsl\u00e4pp av v\u00e4xthusgaser.<strong> <\/strong>Jord \u00e4r en av de st\u00f6rsta och viktigaste kols\u00e4nkorna. V\u00e4xter kan f\u00e5nga upp kolet genom fotosyntes och mikrober och sl\u00e4ppa ut det i jorden. Denna process kallas kolbindning. RA kan bidra till klimatanpassning genom att \u00f6ka markens motst\u00e5ndskraft mot f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar i klimatet eller ogynnsamma v\u00e4derf\u00f6rh\u00e5llanden. Friskare jord absorberar mer vatten, vilket g\u00f6r jordbruksmark mer motst\u00e5ndskraftig mot \u00f6versv\u00e4mningar och torka och minskar avrinning. V\u00e4xtf\u00f6ljden s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller ocks\u00e5 m\u00e5ngfalden av v\u00e4xter, vilket minskar risken f\u00f6r ett fullst\u00e4ndigt misslyckande om v\u00e4derf\u00f6rh\u00e5llandena \u00e4r s\u00e4rskilt ogynnsamma.<\/p>\n\n<h3 id=\"overgangen-till-regenerativt-jordbruk\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00d6verg\u00e5ngen till regenerativt jordbruk<\/h3>\n\n<p>RA \u00f6kar i popularitet men det \u00e4r fortfarande en l\u00e5ng v\u00e4g kvar innan den helt kommer att ers\u00e4tta industriella odlingsmetoder.
