Inom tillverkningssektorn kostar stillest\u00e5nden f\u00f6retag baserade i Storbritannien&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.themanufacturer.com\/articles\/machine-downtime-costs-uk-manufacturers-180bn-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">180 miljarder pund<\/a>&nbsp;varje \u00e5r medan nordamerikanska f\u00f6retag f\u00f6rlorar cirka&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/technology.ihs.com\/572369\/businesses-losing-700-billion-a-year-to-it-downtime-says-ihs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">700 miljarder dollar<\/a>&nbsp;om \u00e5ret p\u00e5 IT-stillest\u00e5nd. I Storbritannien, USA, Frankrike och Tyskland kostar oplanerade stillest\u00e5nd ungef\u00e4r 260 000 USD i timmen sett \u00f6ver alla sektorer, enligt en global studie av Vanson Bourne som&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vansonbourne.com\/client-research\/19061701tc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">publicerades<\/a>&nbsp;2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samma studie kom fram till att 70 % av f\u00f6retagen saknar f\u00f6rm\u00e5gan att avg\u00f6ra n\u00e4r det \u00e4r dags att underh\u00e5lla, uppgradera eller byta ut utrustningen och att 82 % av f\u00f6retagen har upplevt minst en period av oplanerat stillest\u00e5nd under de tre f\u00f6reg\u00e5ende \u00e5ren.<br><br>Det \u00e4r med andra ord viktigt att f\u00f6retag investerar mer i teknik som kan f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra MRO-effektiviteten och minimera stillest\u00e5ndstiden. Som tur \u00e4r g\u00e5r ett antal f\u00f6retag i br\u00e4schen f\u00f6r att erbjuda s\u00e5dan teknik och har utvecklat olika system och l\u00f6sningar som automatiserar MRO och ser till att stillest\u00e5nden antingen undviks helt eller h\u00e5lls p\u00e5 ett minimum.<br><br>Bland dessa f\u00f6retag finns namn som IFS, IBM, eMaint, Oracle och Maintenance Connection. De kommer i olika former och storlekar beroende p\u00e5 leverant\u00f6ren men spelar alla en viktig som portal genom vilka man kan n\u00e5 f\u00f6retagets uppgifter och schemal\u00e4gga underh\u00e5ll.<br><br>Till exempel anv\u00e4nder den kanadensiska distribut\u00f6ren Acklands-Grainger&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mromagazine.com\/features\/%ef%bb%bfautomated-process-helps-products-move\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CMMS-systemet Tiriga fr\u00e5n IBM<\/a>&nbsp;f\u00f6r att \u00f6vervaka varje komponent i anl\u00e4ggningen som kan komma att beh\u00f6va underh\u00e5ll. Systemet anv\u00e4nds ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6r att kontrollera n\u00e4r underh\u00e5llsarbete utf\u00f6rts, sp\u00e5ra reservdelar och f\u00f6r att schemal\u00e4gga nya uppgifter. Genom att anv\u00e4nda ett s\u00e5dan system f\u00e5r Acklands-Grainger p\u00e5litligare drift vilket i sin tur ger st\u00f6rre vinst.<br><br>CMMS- och EAM-system (EAM=Enterprise Asset Maintenance) g\u00f6r att f\u00f6retag kan f\u00f6lja huruvida tillg\u00e5ngar, maskiner eller verktyg uppvisar tecken p\u00e5 slitage. Det \u00e4r beroende av f\u00f6ljande b\u00e4sta praxis. F\u00f6retag som siktar p\u00e5 att dra nytta av MRO-system m\u00e5ste anta ett f\u00f6rebyggande f\u00f6rh\u00e5llningss\u00e4tt och se till att de anst\u00e4llda som ansvarar f\u00f6r MRO tar sitt fulla ansvar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmh.com\/article\/what_makes_maintenance_repair_and_operations_mro_program_successful\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aktuell studie&nbsp;<\/a>utf\u00f6rd av Peerless Research Group kom fram till att s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga som 19 olika arbetsroller kan ha i uppgift att hantera MRO hos ett f\u00f6retag. D\u00e4rf\u00f6r \u00e4r det viktigt att se till att alla anst\u00e4llda som innehar dessa roller \u00e4r medvetna om vilket ansvar de har. Samma studie kom ocks\u00e5 fram till att 13 % av f\u00f6retagen beskriver den interna hanteringen av MRO som \u201dd\u00e5lig\u201d. Beroende p\u00e5 f\u00f6retagets storlek och intern MRO-expertis kan man \u00e4ven \u00f6verv\u00e4ga att implementera en hybrid MRO-policy d\u00e4r delar av underh\u00e5llet utf\u00f6rs externt.<br><br>En annan viktig del i att lyckas med MRO \u00e4r hanteringen av reservdelar. Den \u00e4r n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndig f\u00f6r att minimera stillest\u00e5ndstiden. Detta inkluderar att inventera reservdelar och se till att de tillhandah\u00e5lls kontinuerligt efter behov. Ett av de vanligaste problemen n\u00e4r det kommer till hantering av reservdelar \u00e4r att det inte g\u00e5r att hitta delarna n\u00e4r de beh\u00f6vs. Att anv\u00e4nda ett CMMS- eller EAM-system f\u00f6r att h\u00e5lla reda p\u00e5 delarna \u00e4r d\u00e4rf\u00f6r rimligt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"forutseende-kontra-forebyggande\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">F\u00f6rutseende kontra f\u00f6rebyggande<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I de flesta fall anv\u00e4nder f\u00f6retag f\u00f6rebyggande, allts\u00e5 schemalagt, underh\u00e5ll f\u00f6r att minimera stillest\u00e5ndstiden. Detta inneb\u00e4r att man ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att planera allt som rutinarbete anv\u00e4nder AI f\u00f6r att analysera data fr\u00e5n fabriksgolvet. Detta eftersom underh\u00e5ll och reparationer endast g\u00f6rs n\u00e4r systemet uppt\u00e4cker troliga fel, till skillnad fr\u00e5n schemalagda aktiviteter som sker vid vissa intervall. D\u00e4rmed minskar kostnader f\u00f6r arbete och eventuellt \u00f6verunderh\u00e5ll undviks.<br><br>Det skulle vara missledande att s\u00e4ga att det alltid handlar om antingen eller eftersom f\u00f6rebyggande och f\u00f6rutseende underh\u00e5ll inte direkt \u00e4r varandras motsatser. Det g\u00e5r att anv\u00e4nda b\u00e5de f\u00f6rebyggande och f\u00f6rutseende underh\u00e5ll parallellt f\u00f6r olika system, \u00e4ven om kostnaden f\u00f6r och komplexiteten hos f\u00f6rutseende underh\u00e5ll inneb\u00e4r att det oftast \u00e4r b\u00e4st l\u00e4mpat f\u00f6r st\u00f6rre f\u00f6retag som redan har implementerat system f\u00f6r f\u00f6rebyggande underh\u00e5ll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"framtiden\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Framtiden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I och med att kostnaderna f\u00f6r AI-baserad teknik minskar kommer f\u00f6rutseende underh\u00e5ll troligen att bli allt vanligare inom MRO.<br><br>En rapport fr\u00e5n Allied Market Research som&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.plantservices.com\/industrynews\/2019\/report-global-pdm-market-to-reach-23-01b-by-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">publicerades<\/a>&nbsp;i september kom fram till att marknaden f\u00f6r f\u00f6rutseende teknik kommer att v\u00e4xa fr\u00e5n 2,8 miljarder USD 2018 till 23 miljarder USD 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En alltmer kunnig personal som \u00e4r utbildad inom maskininl\u00e4rning och IoT-teknik som kr\u00e4vs f\u00f6r att implementera f\u00f6rutseende MRO-system kommer att vara drivande i denna f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring.
